There is a captivating history to the Cambodia gambling halls that lie just across the border from nearby Thailand, in which gambling hall wagering is against the law. Another one of the eight casinos in Poipet, again in a motel, is the Princess Casino with 166 slot machines and ninety seven games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of a comprehensive resort and hotel building that contains a number of conveniences accompanying the gambling hall, which houses 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slots and eighty eight table games.
