If you enjoy having a a beverage from time to time, leave your money out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and keep all money, plastic credit and chequebooks out of the casino. Take only the cash you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not by any means. Just realistic. You could have a profit following a boozy night out with your buddies and be lucky sufficiently to catch a long roll at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that account seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and bet. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your moolah back at the hotel might be a bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for drastic behavior is compulsory. If you bet to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the complimentary beer your stomach can handle, but don’t carry credit cards and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your bombed self squanders all the cash!
Permit me to carry this one step more. do not consume alcohol and then jump on the net to wager in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my abode, however seeing that I am connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and gamble.
Why? Although I don’t drink alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet when you do. When mixed, both create an awful, and costly, cocktail.
