The prospect of living in Zimbabwe is somewhat of a risk at the current time, so you may envision that there would be little appetite for patronizing Zimbabwe’s casinos. Actually, it appears to be working the opposite way around, with the awful economic circumstances creating a greater desire to gamble, to try and find a quick win, a way from the problems.

In addition to Zimbabwe’s casinos and the aforestated alluded to lottery and Zimbet (which is very like a parimutuel betting system), there are also 2 horse racing complexes in the nation: the Matabeleland Turf Club in Bulawayo (the 2nd city) and the Borrowdale Park in Harare.
Given that the market has diminished by beyond forty percent in the past few years and with the connected deprivation and crime that has come about, it is not known how healthy the vacationing industry which supports Zimbabwe’s gambling dens will do in the in the years to come. How many of the casinos will carry on until conditions get better is simply not known.
