If you enjoy a drink from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your billfold, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Take whatever money you intend to spend on alcohol, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well experience a win after a drunken evening out with your comrades and be blessed enough to hit a long toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and wager. The pair simply do not mix.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a tiny bit dramatic, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then don’t drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your assets without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but don’t carry plastic credit and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your befuddled head throws away all the cash!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then go online to bet in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my domicile, but considering that I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and gamble.
What’s the reason? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely enough to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and crazy, cocktail.
