If you enjoy a beer every now and then, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your purse, your money belt, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you expect to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket change you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a marathon toss at a on fire craps table. Keep that story considering that it is as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and gamble. The pair just don’t mix.
Leaving your moola back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but defensive actions for dramatic behavior is a requirement. If you bet to profit, then do not drink alcohol and play. If you like to toss aside your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol your stomach can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your hooched up self loses every little thing!
Allow me to take this 1 step further. do not drink alcohol and then head on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a beer from the coziness of my condo, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and bet.
How come? Despite the fact that I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink alcohol, it is certainly adequate to blur my judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
